Successful harvest in Gilgil
Thanks to the tireless efforts of our team, we were able to bring in a bountiful harvest from the farms in Gilgil. These valuable supplies cover the majority of the daily meals for our children and young people in both Gathiga and Gilgil.

Preparing for the Rainy Season
With the rainy season just around the corner, we’re eagerly preparing the fields. We’re loosening the soil and renewing our seeds to ensure that our children continue to receive balanced and nutritious meals.

A look at the menu
Would you like to know what a typical day looks like for us?
- Breakfast: Freshly brewed tea and leftover ugali from the night before (unfortunately, we currently lack the resources for bread).
- Lunch: In Gathiga, many children receive their lunch at school. For the others, we prepare rice with beans or seasonal vegetables.
- Dinner: A hearty serving of ugali with either white or collard cabbage rounds off the day.
