A Christmas filled with fellowship and hope

This year, we were once again able to celebrate a very special Christmas at Children's Hope Home. Thanks to the tremendous support of many people, we were able to invite children, young people and families from the streets of Nairobi to join us and experience a day full of fellowship, warmth and joy.

We picked up the guests from Nairobi with nine buses and brought them safely to our children's home. A total of around 500–600 people from the street took part in the celebration. Together with people from the community, supporters and former children from the home, the celebration became a lively meeting place full of encounters.

There was a hearty, warm meal, music and space to celebrate for everyone. People danced, laughed and spent time together. For many of the children and families, it was a rare moment when they could feel safe, welcome and seen – without worrying about their next meal or a safe place to stay.

Our Christmas celebration is more than just a celebration. It is a sign of solidarity and hope. Time and again, we see that this day is a first step for some children to gain confidence and embark on a new path.

We are very grateful to everyone who made this celebration possible – through donations, organisation, time and commitment.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this Christmas an unforgettable day.
