While construction work continues on our project in Gilgil, we provide the pupils at the local primary school with lunch.
The normal school day in Kenya starts at 7 a.m. and the children do not go home until between 3 and 5 p.m. Some children come to school without lunch, which makes it difficult for them to concentrate throughout the day.
In collaboration with the local primary school, we have selected children who normally come to school without lunch. They now come to us and receive a delicious lunch during the school week.
