Street violence

Life for children and young people on the streets is not easy. They struggle to find food, shelter and medication. Another danger is the violence and brutality from other street dwellers, but above all from the police.

A few months ago, a street boy was brought to us because he had been shot in the leg by the police. After treatment, he could no longer stay on the street because he couldn't walk. He was brought to us to recover. Unfortunately, he returned to the streets after his recovery.

It is very important that we reach street children and get them into homes before they become accustomed to the streets. If they stay on the street, the future of these children and young people is not very bright.
