The first ‘Day of Hope’ on Saturday, 10 July 2010 in Wiesbaden was very successful overall. All participants enjoyed a great day with African music, a belly dance performance and Kenyan food. In addition, visitors could refresh themselves in the ‘pool’ set up especially for this day or support the ongoing projects in Gathiga by purchasing our Hope Home articles. In the evening, visitors were able to watch and cheer on the German national team's victory on the big screen before partying late into the night in the cool cellars of the backyard. The day together and the many inspiring conversations with our families, friends and the young and old hopefuls was a very motivating event for everyone.
We would therefore like to thank all our guests for their visit and support. The next ‘Day of Hope’ is already being planned and we are really looking forward to it! Until then, we wish you all a great summer and a good time. Asante sana!
