Welcome, our new weltwärts volunteers
Freya, Lilly, Soraya & Malena!
We are delighted to welcome our new weltwärts volunteers to Kenya! After intensive preparatory seminars in Frankfurt, Freya, Lilly, Soraya and Malena flew to Kenya together to begin their exciting journey.
After their arrival, they continue their preparation on site, get to know the country, the culture and the local conditions better, and receive introductions to our projects. Once this phase is complete, they will actively participate in our projects in Gathiga and Gilgil for the next year.
Our volunteers will support educational and development projects, accompany local initiatives and promote intercultural exchange, among other things. Their work not only helps to strengthen local projects, but also offers the opportunity to gain valuable personal experience and new perspectives.
We wish Freya, Lilly, Soraya and Malena a successful start and an enriching year full of new experiences, challenges and encounters!
